Ken's Tire, Inc. was established April 7, 1975 by Kenenth and Dorothy Blankenhorn at 138 River Street, Cressona, Pennsylvania as a one man operation. Early in the morning and into the afternoon, Ken would deliver product to wholesale customers and would get back to the shop and retail in the evening. In the summer of 1983, business had grown and a new location on the Gordon Nagle Trail, Cressona was purchased and retail business grew dramatically. Today, Ken's Tires, Inc. is owned by the Blankenhorn family and is managed by Doug Hinnershitz, who has been with the company for 17 years, and employs 29 people in its three locations : Connors Crossing, Cressona, PA., Laurel Blvd, Pottsville, PA., and Altamont Blvd, Frackville, PA. Ken's Tires, Inc. offers a huge 12,000+ tire inventory which includes major and private brands, a complete automotive service, and 24/7 truck repair and industrial tire service. |
